About the event
We are on a collision course between high levels of trauma and mental health challenges and an ill-prepared c-suite and workplace. We can’t benefit ourselves out of this trauma tsunami. Today’s leaders need a plan and implement a systems-approach to creating a trauma-informed organization. It starts with understanding how to become a trauma-informed organization by requiring trauma-informed leadership training for all staff, volunteers, members of the board, and vendors responsible for advancing the organization’s mission.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Understand how to create a trauma-informed organization and how human resources professionals can support a safe, engaging workplace.
Understand the six trauma-informed leadership principles to create a resilient and supportive workforce.
Understand how HR professionals can provide support and resources to employees by understanding mental health challenges.
